There are a ton of skilled fly fisherman and tyers throughout the world, some well known, others little known, all of whom we can learn something from. Al Troth is very well known for his now ubiquitous creation - the Elk Hair Caddis. Like other master fly tyers, Al has a much broader knowledge of fly fishing, and has always fascinated me with his quiet, out-of-the-box approach to fly fishing and its mysteries.
